May is always an interesting month, especially if I am standing in an election! This year it was the 6th and the track is suitably full of turmoil. It was a strange election especially as it took place during the pandemic and social distancing rule were still in force. I took the decision not to carry out any canvassing but spent the time leafleting and cycling around. As a result, much of the information for election day was not available. In the end I increased my majority and have been appointed to chair two Scrutiny Committees; Education and Communities.
