I recently came across cheironomy, a form of conducting where the use of hand gestures directs musical performance. It is normally associated with choral music but I am wondering how it could be employed with these #MusicalMinutes. Sources comment that the method was developed in traditions that don’t have a written notation. Is this how I could widen participation globally? What do you think?
